Senior Freeze Maximum
Household Income Limit Increases for 2026. Beginning in the 2026 (payable 2027) year, the maximum household income
will increase to $75,000. Click here for more information.
Office Hours. The Kane County Assessment Office is open to the public during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The office will be closed on the following 2026 holidays:
- Christmas Day (Thursday, December 25, 2025)
- Day after Christmas (Friday, December 26, 2025)
- New Year's Day (Thursday, January 1)
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Monday, January 19)
- Lincoln's Birthday (Thursday, February 12)
- Washington's Birthday (Monday, February 16)
- Spring Holiday (Friday, April 3)
- Memorial Day (Monday, May 25)
- Juneteenth Independence Day (Friday, June 19)
