November 2, 2024: The final filing deadline for the 2024 (payable 2025) taxable year has passed for all Kane County Townships. The Board of Review is prohibited by Illinois law from accepting further assessment complaints for this taxable year. 35 ILCS 200/16-75
Kane County Assessment Office is open to the public. The Kane County Assessment Office is open to the public during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The office will be closed on the following 2024 holidays:
- Christmas Day (Wednesday, December 25, 2024)
- New Year's Day (Wednesday, January 1)
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Monday, January 20)
- Lincoln's Birthday (Wednesday, February 12)
- Washington's Birthday (Monday, February 17)
- Spring Holiday (Friday, Arpil 18)
- Memorial Day (Monday, May 26)
- Juneteenth Independence Day (Thursday, June 19)
